Title:Youth Programming, Partnerships, and Publicity at Carver    [ more details ]
Submitted:2004-01-20 00:00:00
When: Spring 2004
Genre:Youth
Salary:Unpaid
Desc:This project will provide me with experience in creating young adult programming, developing partnerships with community organizations, and strengthening publicity initiatives. The Austin Public Library - Carver Branch will benefit from my work in the form of improved services to its youth population. I will assist in the daily after-school running of the Carver Wired for Youth Center, as well as work off-site on related projects. Beyond the intangible products of the project, I will present a collection of young adults' explanations of the importance of the Carver library and the Wired for Youth Center.
