Capstone Options: Conservator Internship

This series is intended for students seeking a certificate in Conservation of Library and Archival Materials. Topic 1: Fieldwork in ConservationCourse: INF 394C.1 Fieldwork in a research or rare book library, an archives, or a historical society, with emphasis on planning and executing broad collections care. This topic is offered in the summer session only. Additional prerequisite: Completion of all conservation courses other than fieldwork. Topic 2: Conservator Internship ICourse: INF 394C.2 | INF 994C.2 Development of binding or other treatment skills under professional supervision in the working environment of a recognized book or document conservation laboratory.
