E. Glynn Harmon

Degrees:
B.A., 1960, Political Science, and M.A., 1963, Public Administration, both from the University of California, Berkeley; M.S., 1965, Library Science, and Ph.D., 1969, Information Science, both from Case Western Reserve University; M.B.A., 1973, Southwest Texas State University.
Bio:
Dr. Harmon served as a naval aviator, an education officer, a Russian interpreter, and a communications administrator for the U.S. Navy; and as a research associate in the Center for Documentation and Communications Research, Case Western Reserve University. He administered the library of the U.S. Naval Station, Mayport, Florida, and worked in the libraries of Western Reserve University and California State College, Chico. He has been the recipient of the Texas Excellence in Teaching Award and the Excellence in Advising Award. Dr. Harmon's research interests center on medical informatics, information economics, intelligent systems, human cognition, and education for information science. He is the author of two books: Human Memory and Knowledge and The Development of Information Systems in Real Estate.
