Bio:
Mr. Pollock joined the School of Information in 1999. Previously, he retired from the Texas Army National Guard where he held various positions in training, personnel, and readiness management. While a member of the Texas National Guard, Mr. Pollock served as a quality examiner for the U.S. Army and the Greater Austin Quality Council, worked on five Army Performance Improvement Criteria submissions, and taught and facilitated courses using Dell's/Greater Austin Quality Council's QUEST problem solving process. Mr. Pollock also held positions in sales with Savin Corporation and Del Mar Distributing Company, Inc.; retail management with J.C. Penney Company; veterans' assistance with the Texas Veterans Commission; and radio advertising with KGNB/KNBT Radio in New Braunfels. Mr. Pollock is a member of Beta Phi Mu International Honor Society, the National Association of Colleges and Employers, the Southwest Association of Colleges and Employers, the Texas Library Association, the State Agency Librarires of Texas, and a life member of Texas Exes.
