Student Association of the School of Information (SASI)
Commonly referred to as SASI, this Association serves both as a vehicle of communication between and among students and faculty and as an organizing body for educational, informational and social programs. Student representatives selected by SASI participate on various School committees, as well as in campus-wide organizations, such as the Graduate Student Assembly and the Cabinet of College Councils. The GSA is the University-wide student government for students enrolled in the Graduate School, the School of Pharmacy, the LBJ School of Public Affairs, and The University Of Texas School Of Law. All UT programs departments and student organizations are invited to elect representatives to GSA. Thus GSA represents all graduate and professional students from across The University. Each year, SASI elects representatives to the GSA.
