Students at the School of Information have a staggering amount of technology resources at their fingertips. From sending email and publishing Web pages, to producing streaming media - students can do it all. However, before you can get started, you need to set up the necessary accounts on both School of Information and UT servers. With so many options, it's easy to get confused. IF Accounts - allows you to use the University's dial-up Internet service, send email, publish Web pages and use university-managed computer labs. Getting help - where to turn when you need a helping hand. Buy Hardware and Software - There are a lot of great deals out there for students. How to Get Connected - Find the Internet Service Provider that meets your needs. If you have any questions about computing and Internet related issues, send an email to the IT Services staff at itlab-staff@ischool.utexas.edu.
