Any organization that values the identification, acquisition, organization, storage, and dissemination of information critical to its success, as well as the technologies that enable organizations to use information, will value the talents of our graduates. School of Information graduates are prepared to enter diverse careers, including information architecture, usability design/engineering, business research/competitive intelligence, records management, Web design, database design/management, digital records management, archives and museum management, preservation and conservation management, and medical informatics. Additionally, many of our graduates continue to enter the field of librarianship, filling positions in academic institutions, K-12 schools, public libraries, and a wide variety of special libraries in business, medical facilities, law firms, research, and governmental organizations.
