Donald Wade Hamerly successfully defended his dissertation, "Minding the Verge: Moderating Webcasts & Chat in a Multi-Section Online Undergraduate Course". Dr. Hamerly is joining the faculty at the Graduate School of Library and Information Science at Dominican University in the fall as the Director, School Library Media Program. Don is an IMLS Youth, Community, Libraries Fellow. The YCL grant's goal is to prepare faculty to educate youth librarians for the 21st century public and school libraries.
