Joint Conference on Digital Libraries

Since 2001, the Joint Conference on Digital Libraries has served as the major international forum focused on digital libraries and associated technical, practical, and social issues. JCDL 2009, hosted by the iSchool, was held in Austin June 15-19 at the new AT&T Executive Education and Conference Center.

The conference drew 270 attendees from 22 different countries. The five day research conference included papers and presentations covering information retrieval, digital library development, design and evaluation, digital archives and preservation, and education.
