New IT Staff Member

Due to the addition of new faculty and the receipt of a number of grants requiring a range of technical support, the IT Tech Team has been running a bit ragged. Help has arrived in the form of iSchool graduate Libby Peterek. Please welcome Libby back to the iSchool community!

Libby received her B.A. in English from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and graduated from the iSchool in December 2004. During her graduate career, Libby was a teaching assistant for the School of Information IT Lab, for Information in Cyberspace, and for Technology Tools for Academic Success. In January 2004, she accepted an Information Analyst position on the staff of DIIA (formerly the Center for Instructional Technology) and taught a section of Information in Cyberspace during Fall 2005.

Libby is joining us as a full-time IT staff member. Quinn Stewart, Carlos Ovalle, and Libby will be developing a redistribution of job duties over the next few months. For now Libby will be working as part of the tech support and tutorial development army.
