TLA Annual Conference in Austin: April 5 - 8

Note: Early Bird registration deadline is Friday, March 11!

The Texas Library Association Conference is the biggest and best state library association conference in the world! Over 200 programs - including our own Oliver Chen, Miles Efron and Loriene Roy and alums too numerous to name - Cokie Roberts, Henry Winkler, Joe Raiola, Carmen Lomas Garza, Gail Johnson, Peggy Hoon, Michele Martinez, Kinky Friedman and Bertice Berry are also on the program!

iSchool Reception and Dinner During Conference

iSchool TLA Alumni Reception

When:		April 5, 2005 @ 4-6PM
Where:		SZB 556

The Sanchez Buildling is immediately north of the Bullock Museum, across MLK Boulevard. The reception precedes the TLA "All Conference Welcome Party" held at the Bob Bullock Museum from 6:00 - 8:00PM. Please join us on April 5th to meet with old friends, current students, and enjoy some refreshments before stepping across the street to the TLA welcome party.

iSchool TLA Alumni Dinner

When:		April 7, 2005 @ 6:30PM
Where:		Shoreline Grill: 98 San Jacinto (512) 477-3300
Admission:		$30.00 (see below)

If you would like to attend the dinner and did not purchase a ticket through the TLA registration process, please contact: Ron Pollock or Kathleen Adrian. Tickets for the dinner are $30.00. Make checks payable to UT Austin, and a receipt will be mailed to your home address. You do not have to participate in the TLA annual Conference to attend the dinner. So please join us for great food, great company, and a spectacular view of Austin's Town Lake!
