Several Students Receive Awards
Libby Peterek, iSchool student was selected by the Graduate Student
Association as the Outstanding Teaching Assistant for the year. Peterek was
honored along with the Outstanding Assistant Instructor, Research Assistant
and Graduate Assistant at a reception on Thursday, April 8th. She received
a check for a $1,000 and a plaque commemorating the award.

Kathleen Marie Smith, iSchool student, received the Rovelstad Scholarship in
International Librarianship for 2004. The scholarship covers all of her
expenses to attend the annual meeting of the World Library and Information
Congress to be held in August 2004 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
