iSchool at Society of Southwest Archivists Meeting

At the recent Society of Southwest Archivists annual meeting in San Antonio, the iSchool accounted for 17 of 32 speakers. The following iSchool faculty, students, and alums gave presentations on their work:

Faculty Members: David B. Gracy II and Patricia Galloway

Alumni: Kris Toma, Trish Nugent, Addy Sonder, Anne Marie Donovan, Rebecca Elder, and Tina Thomsen

Current Ph.D. Students: Sue Soy and Maria Esteva

Current Master's Students: Vidya Narayan, Mary Anne MarDock, Lauren Streusand, Abby Haywood, John Bender, Cherie Baker, and Melissa Bailey.

Dr. Galloway introduced three of her students speaking on "Digital Finding Aids and Records at the University of Texas at Austin", while Dr. Gracy introduced four of his students speaking on "Fake, Forgery, or Facsimile: Determining the Genuineness of Early 19th Century Documents."
