As you may know, the purpose of the Knowledge Gateway is to provide for all Texans access to the University's vast knowledge and cultural assets via http://gateway.utexas.edu

The following Gateway team members will give brief presentations on some of the policy and research priorities that have emerged during the formative stages of the Gateway project:

  • Andrew Dillon, Dean, School of Information
  • Dan Updegrove, Vice President for Information Technology
  • John Wheat, Assistant Vice President, Office of Resource Development
  • Mark McFarland, Assistant Director, General Libraries
  • Liz Aebersold, Project Manager, Information Technology Services

Following presentations, the Gateway team will elicit audience questions and commentary. One possible outcome of this iForum is the delineation of Gateway research topics suitable for future individual and/or small group research.
