Strong iSchool presence at IA Summit

The School of Information had a strong presence at this year's ASIST Information Architecture Summit in Portland OR. Dean Andrew Dillon was a panelist on the Navigation and Wayfinding in Information Spaces, iSchool student Mike Alexander and faculty member Oliver Chen presented a paper entitled "Employees' Experience Levels and the Relation to Usability in a Web-based Information System", and iSchool student Prentiss Lee presented a poster entitled "Student Portal: Content Management and Organization Law Student Central at the University of Texas at Austin School of Law".

The IA Summit is the annual conference of choice for information architects. Now in its fourth year, the summit attracts members of the IA community from around the globe. The keynote address was given by Steward Brand, original editor of the Whole Earth Catalog and currently president of the Long Now Foundation.
