2nd Annual Edible Book Festival

This Thursday, April 1st, the School of Information's Preservation and Conservation Studies program will host the second annual Edible Book Festival.

Tell your friends and neighbors to join the fun by making a book or something to do with a book (out of anything edible) and bringing it to the Collection Deposit Library before 2:00 this Thursday, April 1. Everyone will have the opportunity to vote for his or her favorite book and win prizes. Viewing and tasting will occur Thursday, April 1, 2004 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. on the front lawn of the Collection Deposit Library at the intersection of MLK and Red River. You don't have to make a book to participate in the festivities -- onlookers and cheerers-on are very welcome!

To learn more visit: www.ischool.utexas.edu/~ebf or the Daily Texan, which features a wonderful article about the Festival. (See page 8 of print edition.)
