Dean Dillon Speaks at Texas A&M

Dean Andrew Dillon was invited to give the inaugural lecture for the Humanities Informatics Initiative Lecture Series at Texas A&M on Feb 25th. His talk "Humanizing Computers: Designing for People, Not Users" covered developments in the evaluation of of user experience with new information tools. The Humanities Informatics Initiative at A&M is aimed at advancing research in the application of information technology to scholarly activities in the humanities and the exploration of the human record.
