This site chronicles the development process of the FASTRAC Web site redesign, a project undertaken by a team of students from the School of Information at the University of Texas at Austin. The project client was the University of Texas Nanosatellite Program, also known as the FASTRAC team.

To complete this project, the Web team engaged in a 10-week development process that included planning, analysis, design, construction, and verification phases. At the end of the process, the Web team delivered to the FASTRAC team an operational redesigned Web site that had been rebuilt from the ground up. Guided by information architecture principles, the new site offers significant improvements in areas such as navigation, look & feel, functionality, and ease of maintenance. Most importantly, the new Web site effectively supports the FASTRAC team's mission-critical goals and objectives.
