	The University of Texas Libraries: Digital Library Services Divison As a Graduate Research Assistant at the Digital Libraries Services Division my responsibilities included managing student technicians, communicating with clients, creating guidelines and developing efficient workflows for digitization, delivery and encoding of materials on the following projects:   Virtual Landscapes of Texas Memoirs of the Extinct Wingless Birds of New Zealand by Sir Richard Owen Southwestern Historical Quarterly Online A Voice: African American Voices in Congress Software used: CCS DocWorks, Oxygen XML Editor, OmniPage OCR, MS Sharepoint, Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Photoshop.
	Digital Imaging Project Part I: Digitization of a paperback text with the I2S Digibook scanner, processed in Photoshop, OCRed and converted to a PDF with CCS DocWorks. Part II: Digibook I2S System Evaluation using Imatest software Part III: Handling and Set-up for digitization of bound materials
	Database Management The Cochineal: Designed database and search forms for the Cochineal repository of student work PHP examples: Examples of PHP scripts.  All links open new browser windows
